Our Story

My beloved Bissell Green Machine had a leak and we diagnosed it with a hose leak.  They are open for repair during the pandemic.  We dropped it off and they ordered the hoses and repaired it within days.  In fact the owner apologized that it took a few days to get it repaired during a pandemic... A pandemic! The high level of care and concern was so nice and we would not hesitate to buy or repair a vacuum or shampooer here.  In fact I am more likely to support this business than purchase something new anywhere else.  A great supportive business for the Bay Area.

I've come here several times over the years, since we have lived over 20 years in Dublin. The last time I came in I had to scold the owner because he was charging too little! I demanded that he take more for the repair.

Today I came in here for a fairly unusual type of vacuum bag. Of course he had it! It was only $6 for a set of three bags.

This is a fairly small shop--only 900 square feet. But they really make the most of the space. There are vacuums in the front ready for repair and the ones that are done are in the back. It is a very efficient operation, and the owner explained that it's typically 2 or 3 days for a typical repair.  

The owner is really nice and helpful, and I've had great experience with this business. The last time I came here, I had a vacuum that was acting up. He had it fixed in just a few minutes. He is obviously very knowledgeable about this business.

Just remember, if he charges to little, force him to take more money!

I purchased a small vacuum cleaner from Dublin Vacuum about 4 months ago.  I have 3 Dyson's in my home but needed a smaller vacuum for the stairs and other smaller areas. Mr.Green recommended a wonderful vacuum cleaner! It is more powerful than my 3 Dyson's!  The power in this little vacuum is amazing. Mr. Green took the time to explain to me how vacuum cleaners work and which vacuums were more powerful and efficient than others.  He saved me so much time and money.  I can't wait for my other vacuum's to break down so i can buy a better one from Dublin Vacuum.  I have recommended several people already.

The electric cord and the belt on our old Dyson were giving out, and we didn't want to switch to a new model with a ball instead of straight-moving wheels. Dublin Vacuum to the rescue! The owner fixed the problems for a reasonable price and also applied epoxy to a crack he discovered in the body of the vacuum.Glad that there's still people like the owner who repair things, have integrity and charge a (too) reasonable price!

Awesome Mom and Pop shop. My Vacuum suddenly stopped working. I was contemplating getting a new vacuum but luckily I found Dublin Vacuum online. To my surprise my vacuum only needed a $3.00 part and he installed it for free. Its hard to find honest and excellent small businesses these days. This is definitely one of them. If you need a vacuum or anything related I definitely recommend coming here.
